The Back to School, Back to Dance Curriculum is the perfect way to launch a new season of dance with structure, creativity, and excitement. Designed for preschool and early elementary dancers, this curriculum blends school-themed fun with developmentally appropriate dance education. Through engaging Dance EdVentures™, children ease into the classroom while exploring foundational dance concepts in meaningful and playful ways. Dancers will journey through Wheels on the Bus, a pathways exploration where they travel along straight, curvy, and zig-zag routes on their ride to dance class. In the ABCs of Dance, children combine early literacy with movement as they explore body parts, action words, and dance vocabulary from A to Z. The Tap Playground introduces rhythm and pattern through creative footwork and musical games that mimic playground activities. Each lesson is crafted to support classroom readiness and whole-child development, using repetition and routine to build confidence, incorporating multi-sensory strategies to reach all learners, and encouraging social-emotional skills like listening, turn-taking, and following directions.
