NeuroNarratives
NeuroNarratives are brain based movement stories for children, designed to incorporate neurological movement patterns that support brain development. These movements are based on fundamental developmental patterns that humans naturally experience from birth. By reinforcing these patterns through repetition, children can enhance their focus, coordination, core strength, and build stronger neural connections in their brains.
Integrating these movement patterns into a narrative allows children to connect their bodies with their brains in a more meaningful and engaging way. The thematic story serves as a guide, giving purpose to each movement and helping children understand the connection between their actions and brain development, rather than simply practicing the patterns in isolation.
What is a NeuroNarrative
A NeuroNarrative is a short story that follows a thematic character or event through the Neurologogical Movement Patterns. Using a story-based approach to this warm up, we can help our participants make meaningful connections with the movements. Each NeuroNarrative Includes:
- Illustrated Children's Book
- Audio Narration with Sound Effects and Background Music
- Classroom Display Poster
- Video Demonstration of the NeuroNarrative
