A Dance to Learn® Creative Dance EdVenture™
Flowers in the Garden

In this Dance to Learn® Creative Dance EdVenture™ dancers ages 3-5 will learn all about the scientific process of planting and growing of flowers through creative dance and movement. Dancers will explore the Dance Element of Body and the Dance Concept Sizes as well as the Dance Element of Space and the Dance Concept of Levels.

A TINY seed is buried LOW in the dirt. Water from HIGH in the sky falls LOW to the ground. A stem grows TALL. Then SMALL leaf sprouts, followed by a BIG leaf. Next the flower stands TALL with its BIG beautiful petals in bloom!

By Concept Scaffolding, your dancers explore a more dynamic and layered exploration of movement. As children use their bodies to demonstrate changes in size—starting small like a seed and gradually growing bigger like a blooming flower—they also explore spatial levels, transitioning from low movements on the ground to high reaches that represent full bloom. This multidimensional approach deepens their understanding of abstract ideas by connecting them to physical movement, enhancing cognitive and kinesthetic learning.
