A Conceptualized-Thematic Ballet Dance EdVenture™ for Ages 3–5

Help young dancers explore ballet concepts and skills inside a garden-themed classroom experience focused on friendship, relationships, cooperation, creativity, pathway exploration, and whole-child learning.

Inside Friendship Garden, dancers tiptoe through garden pathways, grow “flowers” together, balance across giant flowers made with balance beams and stepping stones, and explore relationship-based movement concepts through imaginative storytelling and sensory-rich activities designed specifically for preschool dancers.

This Dance EdVenture™ blends ballet, imaginative movement, creative play, and thematic exploration into one connected classroom experience.

Peek Inside the Ballet EdVenture™
Growing a Friendship Garden

Inside the Friendship Garden Ballet EdVenture™, dancers move through a connected ballet experience that blends imaginative storytelling, movement exploration, creative play, and whole-child learning from warm-up through obstacle course exploration.

NeuroNarrative™ Warm Up:
Dancers begin class with a story-inspired warm-up focused on planting and growing a flower garden. As the story unfolds, dancers stretch, breathe, and prepare their bodies through imaginative brain-based movement patterns connected to the theme.

Ballet Skill Exploration: Throughout class, dancers explore ballet concepts by growing different parts of the flower with their own bodies and applying beginning ballet technique. Through playful exploration dancers also make connections between ballet terminology and imagery to build their glossary of ballet skills and meanings.

Giant Flower Obstacle Course: As the experience continues, dancers move through a giant flower-inspired Story Dance Pathway™ obstacle course using balance beams, stepping stones, and rose petals while exploring relationship-based movement concepts through imaginative play.
