This Conceptualized-Thematic Lesson Plan explores the Dance Concepts of Sizes (Big and Little), Levels (High, Middle & Low) using the theme of Trees and their leaf colored world. By the end of this lesson plan, your dancers will understand the Dance Concepts of Size and Levels and identify when they are making Big and Small shapes with their bodies as well as dancing on High, Middle or Low levels in space.
In this Lesson Plan, your dancers will learn non-locomotor skills such as Plié, Piqué, Temps Lié, Tendu, Piqué, Coupé, Passé and Échappé. As well as locomotor skills such as Bourrée Marches, Skips and more!
